Qualities:
Archetype: Dribbler
Dribblers are players renowned for their exceptional ability to control the ball closely, enabling them to navigate past defenders with sudden changes in direction and bursts of acceleration, often accompanied by impressive speed. This skill allows them to create scoring opportunities for their teammates or to take on scoring themselves by breaking through the opposition’s defense using what is often described as “trickery.” One of the most captivating moments in football is witnessing a player embark on a “mazy run,” manoeuvring the ball skillfully to evade tackles from opposition players and bypassing multiple defenders in the process.
Bachira’s dribbling prowess is formidable, often allowing him to penetrate most defences effortlessly, with only top-tier players capable of effectively stopping him. It’s a rare occurrence to witness the ball being stolen from him due to his exceptional ball control. During the First Selection, Team Z heavily relied on his dribbling skills to advance the ball down the field. In Blue Lock, Bachira’s dribbling ability is unmatched by all but a select few players, and when combined with his adept passing skills, he proves to be an invaluable asset to any team.
Following the initial training phase of the Neo Egoist League, Bachira has refined his dribbling technique. He has transitioned from proactive dribbling to a more strategic approach known as counteractive dribbling. This involves reading his opponent’s movements first before making his own, demonstrating maturity in his style of play as he navigates the field.
Skills:
Elastic Dribbling:
Bachira’s dribbling style showcases his exceptional technique and creativity, allowing him to manoeuvre past defenders effortlessly. His skill is so advanced that even Isagi has acknowledged the difficulty of stealing the ball from him in one-on-one situations.
Egotistical Style:
During the Second Selection, Bachira developed a new egoistic dribbling style, prioritizing solo play over passing to teammates. He demonstrated this effectively by bypassing multiple defenders on his own, showcasing his disregard for team cooperation. After training with Lavinho and FC Barcha, Bachira combines his dynamic dribbling with FC Barcha’s free-flowing style, creating a unique egotist approach.
Hyperspeed Scissors:
Bachira executes scissor feints at remarkable speed, making it challenging for opponents to anticipate his moves.
Marseille Turn:
To evade defenders, Bachira swiftly performs a roulette manoeuvre, often following his scissor feints.
Midair Elastico:
Bachira showcases his skill by performing the Elastico dribble while the ball is in the air, luring in opponents before darting past them.

Nutmeg:
During the Second Selection, Bachira impressively pulls off a triple nutmeg on Isagi, Chigiri, and Baro consecutively, highlighting his technical proficiency.
Double Touch Feint:
Combining hyperspeed scissors with a one-two-touch feint, Bachira adds complexity to his dribbling repertoire.

Building off the double touch feint, Bachira accelerates towards opponents, executing a swift turn on the ball to easily bypass defenders and break through their defence.

Quick Cross:
Bachira employs precise timing and coordination with his teammates to deliver quick crosses into the box, allowing for swift scoring opportunities. He notably assisted Rin’s goal against Team World Five using this technique.
Heel Lift Pass:
When faced with pressure from defenders while running with the ball, Bachira adeptly lifts the ball with his back heel over their heads, swiftly passing it to a teammate to evade the press and maintain possession.
Bee Shot:
After making quick passes to his teammates and manoeuvring through defenders, Bachira receives the ball again and executes a rapid, close-range shot that is difficult for opponents to react to, often catching them off guard.
Flow State:
Flow, according to Ego, embodies a state of complete immersion or being “in the zone.” It represents a mental state where an individual is fully engrossed in an activity, experiencing heightened focus, deep involvement, and enjoyment in the process.
Bachira has both unintentionally and intentionally entered Flow State on numerous occasions during his time in Blue Lock, starting as early as the First Selection phase. In this heightened state of consciousness, he has achieved remarkable feats, such as executing a triple nutmeg on some of the top players in Blue Lock and effortlessly bypassing their defence. Despite his near success in scoring solo goals, Bachira’s opponents have intercepted him, a testament to the confidence and respect they hold for his exceptional skills.
Monstrance:
Bachira enters a heightened state called Flow State and transcends into Monstrance, a challenge-centered trance. He executes techniques with remarkable speed and makes multiple feints. In Monstrance, Bachira is difficult to predict and stop, allowing him to overcome even tough opponents. He enters Monstrance at will and integrates Lavinho’s free-flowing Ginga style for explosively creative plays.
Monster x Ginga:
By combining Lavinho’s Ginga style with his Monstrance, Bachira enhances his dribbling to become even more explosive, free-flowing, and unpredictable. This fusion allows him to maintain both flexibility and stability simultaneously, elevating his dribbling prowess to new heights.
Trick Break:
In a move known as Trick Break, Bachira strategically waits and reads his opponent before launching into action. He lunges towards the defender, executing a chop dribble between their legs while using their posture to limit their response and propel himself forward with the ball. As the defender attempts to react, Bachira effortlessly pushes off, maintaining control of the ball and neutralizing any further attempts to stop him.
Monster Lift:
Bachira demonstrates his audacious skill with the Monster Lift, a daring move where he lifts the ball and transitions seamlessly into a shooting motion. With precision, he kicks the ball downward with force and topspin. As the ball bounces, it spins over the head of the defender, creating an opportunity for Bachira to chase it down swiftly. This technique was notably employed by Bachira to outmaneuver Aiku with great effectiveness.
